SMS Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of the SMS alarm and notification service provided by Control Tech.
1. Program Description
Control Tech operates an SMS alarm and notification service. By opting in, you agree to receive operational alarm and notification text messages from us, related to VTScada monitoring systems associated with your account, site, or facility.
2. Opt-In and Consent
You can opt in to receive these messages by completing the opt-in form at https://www.controltechgp.ca/sms-alarm-notification-opt-in/ and confirming your consent. Your consent is voluntary and is not required as a condition of any other service we provide.
3. Message Frequency
Message frequency varies depending on the activity of the alarm systems you are subscribed to. Messages are sent only when qualifying alarm events occur.
4. Message and Data Rates
Standard message and data rates from your mobile carrier may apply to messages you receive. You are responsible for any charges your carrier may impose.
5. Opting Out
You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us. After you opt out, you will no longer receive SMS notifications from us unless you opt in again.

7. Supported Carriers
This service is compatible with major US and Canadian mobile carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last Updated” date above reflects the most recent change.
